What are Swipe Plans

Swipe Meal Plans are designed for students who eat on campus regularly and want the best overall value and convenience. If a student lives on campus, has a full class schedule, or plans to eat most meals between classes, a Swipe Meal Plan is likely the best fit.

Swipe Plans are accepted at dining locations across campus using a Catcard.

How Swipe Plans Work

Swipe Plans include three types of value that work together to cover meals and snacks on campus:

Swipes

Swipes are used to pay for meals at on-campus dining locations.

  • Swipes have a value of $11.50 at all retail locations.
  • Swipes are loaded monthly and must be used in the month that they are issued. Swipes do not rollover to the next month.
  • Swipes are best used at all-you-care-to-eat locations by saving an average of three dollars per meal.
  • Swipe Plans do not include extra Swipes for Move-In Week, Finals Week or Spring Break. Regular monthly Swipes are still available during these weeks, and any Swipes used will count toward that month’s total Swipes, which may result in fewer Swipes available for the remainder of the month.

  • Can be used on campus and at select off-campus locations when linked to Grubhub.
  • Reloadable at any time.

Guest Meals

Need Help Choosing?

If a student is unsure which Swipe Plan to choose, selecting a higher plan is recommended if most meals will be eaten on campus. Plans may be upgraded at any time.
