WILDCAT WELCOME 2009
Welcome, New Wildcats, to The University of Arizona! Every summer we help you to start the school year off right with a warm welcome and an overview of the opportunities here on campus. Spend your first ten days on campus doing activities that will acclimate you to the resources available from the UA and Tucson communities.
Many of these programs are free and fun, and a much better way to see what's happening on campus than reading a map the first day of classes. So, get involved in campus life, and see how it will make a difference to your college experience.

Help us welcome the Class of 2013 to campus in style during Wildcat Welcome. Faculty and Staff - even entire departments - can pitch in while showing their commitment to our bigger than ever Freshman class. Volunteer Forms DUE AUGUST 17, 2009.

Come see how we do it Arizona style - with entertainment
and a welcome from University officials. Only the biggest
Barbecue in town. $5 UA students, $10 others.

Sun, 8.23.09: Wildcat Bon Voyage Brunch
(11am-1pm) South Ballroom, SUMC
The Parents & Family Association invites you to join us for a
fun-filled brunch and a chance to say a formal "good-bye" to
your student. Tickets are $20/person.

Sun, 8.23.09: Freshman Convocation
(6pm) Centennial Hall
Join us the evening before classes begin for the official and
formal induction of The University of Arizona Class of 2013.
Mon, 8.24.09: First Day of Classes

library tours, tutors and more throughout the week on the
Event Schedule.
