Student Union Construction begins on the parking lot, west side of the Women's Building. Seen from the sidewalk is the east end of the old Navy "Mess Hall" at the left, and next to is the Power Plant. The small building being demolished on the right is the Carpentry Shop—the "new brick barn" constructed in 1905. Just behind it is part of the Aeronautical Building. |
