L.I.T. Overview

The Leadership & Involvement Transcript (L.I.T.) is a co-curricular transcript program is a co-curricular transcript program. No matter what programs you participate in, you can keep track on an official University of Arizona L.I.T., which you can use to distinguish yourself in job interviews, scholarship and graduate school applications, and portfolios.

First your leadership skills will be assessed, and then you will work with a professional staff member to set goals and select desired competencies, building skills through involvement opportunities on and off campus. Finally, record these experiences on your verified co-curricular transcript.

How is the L.I.T. Used?

Official copies of the L.I.T. transcript are used to:

  • Supplement graduate school and scholarship applications
  • Accompany employment applications
  • Provide you with more than just an academic transcript to document college experiences
  • Assist you in making important choices about co-curricular involvement
  • Help individual you prepare resumés and identify job skills and experience

    Creating an L.I.T.

    1. Fill out the online application and pay the $5 access fee. Click here to sign up for an L.I.T.

    2. Attend an L.I.T. Activation Session to learn how to use the L.I.T. In order to be activated and able to use the L.I.T., you must attend an Activation Session. See below for the next L.I.T. activation session.

    3. Get Involved! Join a student organization or do community service. Every time you complete an activity, enter it into your Leadership & Involvement Transcript. Entries must be submitted no later than 30 days after the completion of the semester in which it is to be applied.

    4. Once the entry is confirmed, the information will be posted on your Leadership & Involvement Transcript.

    5. You should update your L.I.T. each semester just as your academic transcript reflects each semester's academic progress. It would be difficult during your senior year to recall everything you've done during your UA career.
