The Core name, logo and design layout were created by UA student Acacia Betancourt, a Visual Communication Junior, as part of a Visual Communication class project headed by Dr. Jackson Boelts. Some 20 concepts where submitted to the Unions and the winner was ultimately selected through a student vote.
