Groovin on the Grass, held from 12-1 on weekdays, is a weekly, outdoor concert series which takes place at Arizona's most sought after college venue, the UA Mall Stage, located at the center of campus. Capacity for this venue is unlimited, weather permitting, and don't forget your sunscreen!
Booking criteria for this venue include both a CD and press kit, neither of which are optional. Should you wish to be considered for this event, please send press kits and CD to the address above. NOTE: CDs and press kits submitted to Groovin on the Grass are reviewed by multiple parties so we ask that you send what you can spare, though we make no guarantees based on quantity.
IFs, ANDs or BUTs . . .
The BOARD Concerts cannot/will not arrange or finance lodging for any local or regionally touring acts.
The BOARD Concerts allows/encourages sale of any and all paraphernalia (CD, t-shirts, cups, hats, stickers, etc.) bearing artists work and logo, at the venue, day of show; before, during, and up to one (1) hour following performance.
The BOARD Concerts reserves the right to tax or discontinue sale of paraphernalia not bearing the logos or work of performing artist.
The BOARD Concerts can/will provide close and convenient parking, free of charge to artists, road crew and other pertinent parties affiliated to said performance.
The BOARD Concerts reserves the right to control the volume and cancellation of said performance. Failure to comply with volume controls will result in cancellation of said performance after two warnings. In this event, UAB Concerts reserves the right to withhold compensation, if any, until a settlement can be reached. University decibel level is 85.
The BOARD Concerts hereby notifies all parties; the University of Arizona is an alcohol-free campus. Alcoholic beverages will not be bought, sold or consumed by artists prior to or during performance. The BOARD Concerts reserves the right to cancel performance and withhold compensation, if any, in the event that artist(s) is intoxicated, under the influence of alchohol or any illegal substance, or otherwise unable to perform.

In addition, the BOARD Concerts hosts and co-hosts a plethora of other afternoon and evening events at a plethora of on and off campus venues. From residence hall lobby concerts to thematic dances and/or variety shows, the BOARD Concerts is constantly referring and featuring several acts for miscellaneous purposes. Any press kits and CDs deferred or declined are kept on file for a period of three consecutive semesters and may be reconsidered for future events.
