How do I search for a place to live?
Welcome to Off-Campus ONLINE! You may search the current listings by clicking on the 'Find a Place' tab on top of the Off-Campus
ONLINE homepage. Please look through the results until you find a property you like or enter any specifications (rent, number
of bedrooms, etc.) into the search criteria on the left side of the page in order to narrow your search. Clicking on the address
will bring up a detailed view of an individual ad.
How do I look for a place to live in a certain neighborhood?
You can search for a place to live in a certain neighborhood by selecting 'Find a place'
and a 'Region' or 'Location'.
'Regions' refer to geographic areas, like 'North Tucson', or 'Downtown'.
'Locations' refer to specific neighborhoods, like 'Sam Hughes' or 'IronHorse Neighborhood'.

Why should I advertise my property with Off-Campus ONLINE?
If you manage/own an rental property with occasional vacancy, an apartment complex with numerous units, or a single-family house,
duplex, or condo, then you can benefit greatly by advertising with Off-Campus ONLINE. Thousands of students use Off-Campus
Housing Services each year to find their first or next apartment, house, condo, etc. in Tucson. The Off-Campus ONLINE website
is linked to the main Off-Campus Housing page and is also tied in the main Student Union site. Furthermore, the Weekly Housing
List (printed from Off-Campus ONLINE) are sent to over a hundred departments on campus as well as distributed in the Student

How do I list my property on Off-Campus ONLINE?
1. First, you must set up an account with Off-Campus ONLINE. To do so please click here:

2. Second, after you have created an account, you must fill out the online submission form. The following
categories are required:
Contact phone
Contact email
Complete address (address, zip code, state)
Monthly rent
Date available
Distance to UA
Region/Neighborhood
Number of bedrooms
Number of bathrooms
3. Third, you must pay for your ad. You may choose to pay for the ad online with our secure server
(only Mastercard or Visa are accepted). If you do not want to pay for your ad online, please follow the
links to Pay by Cash or Check.
I don't have an email address. Can I still purchase an online ad?
Yes, but not online. You'll have to print out a form and bring it in to the office.
When will my ad be active on Off-Campus ONLINE?
Off-Campus Housing Services will start running your ad as soon as it is paid for and approved (typically within 2 business days).
Can I place more than one ad during the same session online?
Yes. You can place multiple ads and only enter your payment information once on the Pay for My Ads page. All of your ads will
be itemized for your approval. Upon receiving payment, Off-Campus Housing Services will send you one confirmation email
listing all the ads purchased in that session.
How long will my ad run online?
Your ad will be active online for 2 weeks. After that time you can renew your ad for an additional 2 weeks.
If you have an interest in running long term ads, please contact us as housing@u.arizona.edu
and we'll be happy to set you up with a longer ad run.
Can create an ad now and then add more to my order at a later time and purchase them all at once?
No, you must purchase all ads you create at the time of you create them. It is not possible to save all or part of an ad
that is not purchased. Ads will not run online until full payment is received.
I've placed and paid for an ad or multiple ads on Off-Campus ONLINE. How will I be able to distinguish these ads
on my credit card bill?
For each transaction, the charge will appear on your bill as 'Arizona Student Unions.'
I just paid for an online ad. How do I know that my order is complete?
If you have successfully purchased an online ad from Off-Campus ONLINE, you should have been directed to a 'Thank You'
page in the order completion process. This page will display your Ad Identification Number, indicating that
your order is complete. Please save your Ad ID to use in any correspondence with Off-Campus Housing Services
regarding your online.
In addition, Off-Campus Housing Services will automatically send you a confirmation email containing information
about the ad(s) you place, including your Ad ID.
What is an Ad ID?
Ad ID is short for Advertising Identification Number. You receive you Ad ID after successfully completing your
order for an online advertisement. The Ad ID appears on the 'Thank You' page after your order is complete,
an in your confirmation email. The Ad ID is a numeric number such as 2,3,4,5.
When you call us with regards to your ad, it helps to have the ad number ready so we can look it up.
If I am advertiser, how do I find my ad on Off-Campus ONLINE?
Please note that it may take up to one business day to process your ad so it may not appear online immediately after purchasing it.
From the Off-Campus ONLINE homepage, please select the 'Advertiser Login' tab on top of the page. Enter your email address
and password to login into your account and click 'See your ads' in order to view active/inactive ads.
You may also view your ad by clicking on the 'Find a Place' tab on top of the Off-Campus ONLINE homepage. Please look
through the results until you find your ad or enter any specifications about your property (rent, number of bedrooms,
etc.) into the search criteria on the left side of the page in order to narrow your search.
How do I get a copy of my online ad?
You may print your ad from the Off-Campus ONLINE site at any time.
How do I get a paper copy of all of the properties listed online (also known as the Weekly Housing List)?
Please go to the Off-Campus ONLINE homepage and click 'Print All Listings' on the left. A listing all the properties
will appear and can be printed at any time. Please note, because the listing is in RTF format, you must have Microsoft
Word or another word processing program in order to open it.
How can I make changes to or delete my ad(s)?
From the Off-Campus ONLINE homepage, please select the 'Advertiser Login' tab on top of the page. Enter your email
address and password to login into your account and click 'See your ads' in order to review, renew, edit, or delete your ad(s).
How do I cancel my ad(s)?
By logging in, selecting 'manage my ads', and then 'Cancel'.

My listed property is rented but my ad is still posted online. How do I get a refund or credit?
Unfortunately, all sales are final. Off-Campus Housing Services will not issue refunds or credits. However, you may cancel
your ad from the Off-Campus ONLINE by logging into your account, clicking 'See your ad(s)' and deleting your ad.
How will I know when my ad is about to expire?
Your ad(s) will run for 14 consecutive days. By selecting the box when first submitting your ad, you may choose to have
Off-Campus Housing Services send you and email to inform you that your ad is about to expire.
How do I renew/extend my online ad(s)?
Once your ad has expired after 14 consecutive days, you may renew your ad by logging into your account, clicking on 'See
your ad,' and renewing your ad(s). You also have the option of changing your ad before renewing it.
When I renew my ad, can I change my current/add a new photo?
Yes, you can change the photo if you choose to renew your ad. To do so, you must follow the detailed specifications for
photographs on Off-Campus ONLINE, attach your photo to an email, and send it to housing@u.arizona.edu.
What if I have questions about my ad?

or by phone at 520-621-5859. You may also come to our office located on the 4th floor of the Student Union Memorial
Center. We are happy to help you.
What if I don't own an apartment complex?
Providing an apartment complex name is optional. You do not have to own an apartment complex in order to advertise on
Off-Campus ONLINE.
How specific should my property address be?
A complete address will ensure that those who respond to your ad are interested in your location. You may use a specific
address or cross streets in order to list your property. For example, '123 Campbell' or 'Campbell and 2nd' is sufficient.
What phone number should I list?
Please enter the number where you would like to be reached by those interested in your ad.
Will I be contacted by phone, email, or both?
Both are required and will be displayed on your ad. Those interested will contact you by whichever method they choose.
What information is required when listing my property with Off-Campus ONLINE?
You are required to enter:
Contact phone
Contact email
Complete address (address, zip code, state)
Monthly rent
Date available
Distance to UA
Region/Neighborhoods
Number of bedrooms
Number of bathrooms
What if some descriptors of my property are not listed in the 'Rental property features' section?
You may list any additional descriptors/features in the 'Description' space. Please not that you are limited
in the number of characters you may enter.
Is there anything I can't say in the 'Description' space available?
Off-Campus Housing Services follows the Fair Housing Policy of the City of Tucson and makes it unlawful
to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, ancestry, age, physical handicap, national
origin, sexual or affectional preference, or marital status, in places of public accommodation,
in employment, and in housing.
If I do not feel comfortable about or am unable to place an ad on my computer, how can I place an ad to run on your website?
Although we encourage you to submit your information online and ensure that your information is password protected and safe, you
may print and complete an ad submission form. To print a form, please select 'Print ad submission form' on the left of Off-Campus
ONLINE's homepage. You must have Adobe Acrobat to read and open the form. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat,
you can download it for free on that page.
How do I include a photo with my ad?
Adding a photo to your ad may be beneficial to anyone looking for a place to live. When submitting a photo to accompany your ad,
please use the following guidelines:
We do not accept mail-in / hard copy photos
GIF or .JPG/.JPEG format is preferred
Optimal image size is 250 (w) x 250 (h) pixels. Click here to see a sample
All images will be automatically adjusted for optimal image size, file size, and resolution.
Off-Campus ONLINE will not use images with people in them
All photos become the property of the University of Arizona and Off-Campus ONLINE.
If your photo meets the above requirements, you may email it to housing@email.arizona.edu. Be sure to include your name,
the property address, and a contact phone number in case we have any questions.
Can I add a photo after my ad is active?
Yes - you can either go to 'My ads' and enter in the URL of your photo, if it meets our size requirements, or you can
email it to us at housing@u.arizona.edu. Be sure to include your name
and the ad number.
Can I change my photo after my ad is live?
No. Since the photo placed online will be the original photo you sent to
housing@u.arizona.edu, it can not be changed.
You may send in another photo when you renew your ad or create a new one.
How do I pay for my ad?
There are several payment options with Off-Campus ONLINE. To process the payment online, we will only accept a
Visa or Mastercard. If you would like to pay by cash or check, you must either send payment to Off-Campus
Housing (PO Box 210017, Tucson, AZ 85721) or come to our office located on the 4th floor of the Student
Union Memorial Center to do so. Please note, your ad will be activated until full payment is received.
Can I use my debit card to pay for my ad?
If your debit card is backed by either Mastercard or Visa you may use it to pay for your ad.

ROOMMATE SEARCHING
How much does it cost to place a roommate listing?
This service is FREE! However, only UA students may place a roommate listing. If you are not a UA student
and have a place to share, you may place an ad on our current housing list for $15. Please select 'List
your property' on the left of the Off-Campus ONLINE homepage.
How do ensure the security of my information on the roommate listing?
In order to access the roommate section of Off-Campus ONLINE, you must have a University of Arizona NetID.
The roommate listing is secure to ensure your privacy and safety. However, knowing that we don't screen
roommate list applicants, we recommend you use the listings with discretion.
I have a place and need a roommate to live with me. How do I go about finding one?
After logging in with your UA NetID and Password, please select 'Looking for a roommate.' You may place a
new roommate ad or manage an existing ad.
What information will I need before filling out a roommate listing form?
When placing a new roommate ad, you must enter:
First name
Contact email
Street address OR Cross streets
Zip code
Monthly rent
Date available
Distance to UA
Type of residence
What if some of the descriptors of a roommate I am looking for are not in the 'Roommate Information' section?
If you would like to include some more information about yourself, the kind of roommate you are looking for, the property,
etc, you can do so in the 'Other Information' section. Please note that inappropriate submissions will not be accepted for
listing, so please keep it clean.
How can I change my roommate ad(s)?
After logging in with your UA NetID and Password, please select 'Looking for a roommate.' Then, select 'Manage your ads'
and edit, delete, or renew any ads you currently have running or have run in the past.
As a UA student, how do I search for a place to live and a roommate?
After logging in with your UA NetID and Password, please select 'Looking for a place to live.' You may search the current
listings or signup to have the weekly roommate-wanted listings sent to your email account.
How do I search for a place to live in the roommate listings?
After logging in with your UA NetID and Password, please select 'Looking for a place to live.' Then, choose 'Search
current listings' and either search all of the roommate-wanted listings or refine your search using the criteria on the left.
Who is responsible for the information placed in the roommate listings?
This form will be made available to other interested students for viewing at Commuter Student Affairs, the information
will also be compiled and printed on our Roommate List. This list will be distributed through our office, via email,
and at summer Orientation sessions in Tucson and in Chicago. The published list will not list your last name.
Off-Campus Housing Services, Commuter Student Affairs, and the University of Arizona are not responsible for the
accuracy of the information provided on the Roommate List, nor are we liable for your reliance on this information.
No background checks or screening processes have been conducted. This service is intended to give students information,
not to be a roommate matching service. Students using this list to locate roommates are responsible for carefully
screening prospects, and for all decisions made with respect to their selection of roommates.
