The L.I.T. program is the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership's comprehensive approach to the educational benefits
of learning outside the classroom. The L.I.T. program assists students in making choices throughout their college
experience to maximize the benefits of their overall college experience. Students are first assessed in the area of
leadership skills and then advised by a Center for Student Involvement & Leadership professional staff member on personal
goal setting and competency- building involvement opportunities on and off campus. Students will also learn how to
articulate the learning they are experiencing outside of the classroom. Finally, students learn such things as effective
communication, delegation, multiculturalism, presentation skills, ethical decision making, leadership theory and style and
much more.
