The following Individual Student Awards are sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership at the University of Arizona. Eligible applicants must be nominated. Nominators must turn in an application with any relevant credentials to Student Union Memorial Center, Room 404. For any other information contact Jenny French at french@email.arizona.edu
general eligibility criteria: Must be a University of Arizona student Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University of Arizona Self-nominations are not accepted Involvement must be during tenure at the University of Arizona Student may be the recipient of a specific award only once during his/her tenure at the University of Arizona
application considerations and evaluation criteria:
Judges may consider any of the following when evaluating the applications:
Appearance and thoroughness of the application
Demonstration of leadership skills
Quality of involvement with campus life
Contributions to campus and/or Tucson community
Involvement in community service opportunities
Quality & effectiveness of program
Demonstration of collaboration and diversity
Nominators are urged to review the Awards criteria carefully and to be as concise as possible in completing the form. The selection committee will place particular emphasis on quality of the areas specified above.
