Presented to a University of Arizona recognized student club or organization or an ASUA/GPSC program/service, for demonstrating leadership, character, and global consciousness

additional eligibility criteria:

 Only open to non-departmental organizations

 Organization members are encouraged to self-nominate

 Complete Nomination Form

 Please describe the nominated organization in two pages or less. Key points may include, but are not limited to:

• Describe the mission and purpose of the organization.

• Describe how the organization’s involvement in and/or contributions to the University and/or Tucson community has been characterized by respect for the dignity of others.

• Describe a particular situation in which the organization has inspired others to act. Explain this situation in terms of service to others through insight, values, and skills that may have been used to lead a group toward a common goal. In other words, how do they exemplify leadership and leadership skills?

• Describe how growth from various experiences has assisted the organization in becoming informed, responsible, productive community members

• Describe a situation in which the organization fostered cooperation among groups and individuals

• Describe service that the organization has provided to the University and/or Tucson community. Please reflect on the quality of this service.

• Explain how the organization dealt with any challenges that it faced as a new group
