This award is presented to a Faculty Fellow member of The University of Arizona for his/her contributions and commitment to the students he/she advises.

additional eligibility criteria:

 Held Faculty Fellow position during academic Spring Semester 2002, Fall Semester 2002, and/or Spring Semester 2003

application requirements:

 Complete Nomination Form

 In a letter or essay format please describe why the nominee should be considered for this award using the following points as a guide:

• Explain how the Faculty Fellow inspires academic success and love of learning in all students, but especially in students involved in his/her respective venue (Residence Hall, Greek House, Cultural Student Affairs Office, etc.)

• Illustrate how the Faculty Fellow develops meaningful relationships with students and is committed to their academic success and personal growth

• How does the Faculty Fellow take initiative to create and tailor specific academic, cultural, or social programs that are successful in his/her particular venue?

• Describe how the Faculty Fellow provides a variety of different ways to interact with students (one-on-one, group activities, small discussions, field trips, collaborating with other Faculty Fellows and academic departments, etc.)

• Describe how the Faculty Fellow demonstrates the value of diversity in its broadest sense. Include valuing diverse students, diverse ways of learning, and diverse programming that impacts students outside his/her venue.
