A new resource for student parents at the University of Arizona!
Kidz Korner is a new designated child play area in the corner of the Commuter
Lounge on the 4th floor of the Student Union Memorial Center. It is a safe place
for children of student parents to play while parents are studying or using the
computers in the Commuter Lounge.
The Kidz Korner is equipped with a child-sized table and chairs,
a colorful rug, comfortable pillows/bean bag chair, a TV/VCR, and a bookshelf.
The play area is stocked with books, toys, and videos so that children can
occupy themselves while their parents study in the Commuter Lounge.

KIDZ KORNER GUIDELINES FOR USE
The Kidz Korner is a collaborative project brought to you by the Commission on the Status of Women, Commuter Life, the Arizona Student Unions, the Dean of Students, and the Vice President for Campus Life.
Please observe the following guidelines when using the Kidz Korner:
1. The playroom may be used from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays by children of University of Arizona students, staff, and employees.
2. Do not leave children unattended in the playroom area at any time for any reason. Supervision of children is the sole responsibility of the parent(s). The University of Arizona assumes no responsibility for the supervision of children in the playroom.
3. No more than five children will be permitted in the playroom at one time.
4. Please be respectful of all commuter students -- keep noise levels to a reasonable minimum.
5. Please replace toys and books on shelves and dispose of any food or beverage containers before leaving the playroom.
6. The University of Arizona Office of Center for Student Involvement and Leadership reserves the right to request that users of the child-safe playroom vacate the area at their discretion. Non-compliance with the guidelines may endanger privileges to use the area.
7. Please sign in and out of the registration book each time you visit the playroom and leave any comments or suggestions regarding the playroom on the enclosed suggestion cards (return these cards to the Commuter Life office).
