Collection, Oversight, and Reporting
The student fee will be collected through the Bursar’s office with monies distributed to the Arizona Student Unions who will directly allocate to respective recipients, programs and/or departments.
The Arizona Student Unions will generate an annual report for student consumption which clearly identifies how all Union fee monies were collected, allocated, distributed and used.
Student Union Fee Committee
An eleven member student committee will have oversight, fee allocation
review responsibilities and assist in the preparation of the annual report
and audit. The student committee shall be compromised and appointed by
the respective presidents or chairs of the following organizations:

In addition, 3 UA students will be appointed by the Student Union Fee Committee through an application process.
Opt Out Process
Students who wish to opt out of the fee can submit an opt-out application to the Student Union Fee Committee (SUFC) to show just cause for their exemption from Union services, programs or facilities.
