Structure & Function
The DAG represents the Arizona Student Unions' employee population. Hence, the members represent a cross section of the Union's responsibility centers and functions. Members are nominated by Union employees and/or selected by the Student Union Director during the Spring Semester. Membership term is for one year, with a 2nd year option.
The DAG identifies key issues and outlines the year's goals and objectives at the yearly retreat. After several initial meetings, the DAG elects one of its members as the chair who is responsible for facilitating the weekly meeting. The chair's term can be monthly, by semester or for any length of time agreed to by the current DAG. Administrative support is provided to assist the chair (i.e. preparation of minutes, scheduling of rooms, etc.).
