The USS Arizona Bell is rung on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in honor of significant achievements that bring recognition to the University. This includes academic achievements and awards for which a University of Arizona student, faculty, staff or alumni has received in the previous thirty days. The USS Arizona Bell will be rung 7 times at 12:07pm in recognition of these outstanding achievements. The entire University campus is encouraged to submit nominations. This includes students, faculty, alumni and staff.
Nominations must include the following information:
